Summer Interns:

We will provide exposure, experience, and education necessary to build a foundation for your calling.

Characteristics of a Summer Intern:
  1. A person who has given evidence of their salvation by their Christ-like behavior and walk with God.
  2. A person who has responded to God’s call to vocational ministry or is presently seeking God believing God maybe calling to vocational ministry.
  3. A person who has a servant attitude and willing to work diligently in Kingdom work.
  4. A person who has parent/family support for a summer filled with the work of ministry.​
  5. A person who has his or her own transportation.
 
What can the Summer Intern expect to experience:
  1. To grow spiritually
    1. By having a daily quiet time and journaling.
    2. By reading assigned books and discussing them in group format.
    3. By participating in local church ministry.
    4. By serving others.
    5. By embracing the life of a missionary.
  2. To serve willingly
    1. By providing VBS events in the churches of the BBA
    2. By assisting in the work of Hope Places in Warren and Monticello.
    3. By leading small group Bible Studies
    4. By sharing the gospel with others personally and at events.
    5. By doing even outreach at the Bradley County Pink Tomato Festival. 
    6. By assisting in the planning and implementation of the BBA Kidz Camp: Camp Go!
 
Details:
Transportation: personal transportation is necessary. It will not be provided.

​Lodging: If the participant has family or a friend to stay with in Drew or Bradley Counties they can stay with them. Housing is available.  

​Compensation:  This is a paid internship position. 

Summer Term: June 12-August 3, 2020
